List of Spinning Mills
Spinning Mills manufacture yarn from cotton and polyester using state-of-the-art machinery, producing counts ranging from 20s to 120s. Notably,
Trivandrum Spinning Mills specializes in OE spinning and can produce yarn below 24s count.
All mills produce yarn in cone form, except:
- Alleppey Co-operative Spinning Mills
- Cannanore Co-operative Spinning Mills
These two mills also have facilities to produce yarn in hank form.

About the Common Sales Platform

To bring transparency and efficiency, the Government of Kerala has initiated the formation
of a Common Sales Platform for selling the yarn produced by these government-run spinning
mills

This platform is being developed by the Board for Public Transformation (BPT).

Each Spinning Mill can call e-tenders through this portal.

Buyers can:Submit bids,Evaluate yarn quality and machine technology used by each mill,Request customized yarn with specific quality parameters.
and In response, any suitable mill can quote a price and manufacture the
required yarn
